anywayy had a greatgreat day yesterday :D
went out w kor,js and xiong cause js was too excited about poly,
so he got us out to choose clothes for him
haha and boy he's the largest guy shopper ive ever seen.
as long as we say tht its nice he'll buy it.
and we found out tht he looks good in brown!
okay lah we found out alot of stuff about js when it comes to clothes, right xiong? hahah.
hahah he put me into this really shopping mood!

oh yes we watched best bet.
and altho 2/3 of the show was hokkien,
subtitles were there for me.
and besides the song and the stupid repeat crap,
i found it quite funny! overall stupid but its damn funny

Honk If You Love Jesus

Got a letter from Grandma the other day.

She writes: Today I went up to a local Christian bookstore and saw a "Honk if you love Jesus" bumper sticker.

I was feeling particularly sassy that day because I had just come from a thrilling choir performance, followed by a thunderous prayer meeting, so I bought the sticker and put it on my bumper. I was stopped at a red light at a busy intersection, just lost in thought about the Lord and how good He is, and I didn't notice that the light had changed. It is a good thing someone else loves Jesus, because if he hadn't honked, I'd never have noticed! I found that lots of people love Jesus!

Why, while I was sitting there, the guy behind me started honking like crazy, and then he leaned out of his window and screamed, "For the love of God! Go! Go! Jesus Christ, go!" What an exuberant cheerleader he was for Jesus!

Everyone started honking! I just leaned out of my window and started wavin and smiling at all these loving people. I even honked my horn a few times to share in the love! There must have been a man from Florida back there because I heard him yell something about a "sunny beach"...

I saw another guy waving in a funny way with only his middle finger stuck up in the air. Then I asked my teenage grandson in the back seat what that meant, and he said that it was probably a Hawaiian good luck sign, or something. Well, I've never met anyone from Hawaii, so I leaned out of the window and gave him the good luck sign back. My grandson burst out laughing...Why, even he was enjoying this religious experience!

A couple of the people were so caught up in the joy of the moment that they got out of their cars and started walking towards me. I bet they wanted to pray or ask what church I attended, but this is when I noticed that the light had changed. So, I waved to all of my brothers and sisters, grinned, and drove on through the intersection.

I noticed that I was the only car that got through before the light changed again, and I felt kind of sad that I had to leave them after all of the love that we had shared, so I slowed the car down, leaned out of the window, and gave them all the Hawaiian good luck sign one last time as I drove away.

Praise the Lord for such wonderful folks!

it was my aunty's wedding;

i was superduper annoyed cause i was SOOOOO hungry
and the wedding invitation stated the dinner would start at sth like 7pm
but it started at like what, 9PM!
grr- considering that the whole day i only had ONE PRETZEL,
i was super hungry lor. got me even more pissed.
people like remy ong (the guy whose popiah shop closed down) and other national bowlers were there.
okay lah they werent THAT bad looking.
hahah and i saw this guy who looks like the younger version of JOSHUA ANG!! and supposedly i think he's my cuzzie.

i saw my favourite people in the whole line of the familyy
my extremely young aunty & uncle.[different families, one is 7th, one is 9th.]
aiya i dont knw hw to explain either, this family's super confusing even i dont knw hw to explain. hahah.
but who caress, my youngest aunty was damn chioo!
okay the bride was absolutely gorgeous.
didnt even really look like herself.
her face was like, glowing with love.
and her husband looked like a stick.
hahah..okay the food was FANTASTIC. i loved it man.

pastor prince was super funny man i tell you.
then after servicee i went to bugis w my parents to collect my contacts, and the nice optician gave me a free pair of contacts, you know the type that you can sleep with it? :D yayy
he rocks man; i would NEVER EVER change optician.
then we went to this place called billy bombers
where they had the tastiest and most expensive milkshakes ive ever seen.
but it is soooooooo yummy lors.
hais. i feel like drinking it again. altho it costs 5.90 for one cup.
okay maybe it isnt tht ex anymore hahah.
i feel like trying their route 66 too! its mushrooms in melted swiss cheese :):) yummilicious.

had gg campfire & band bbq last night.

gg campfire was not bad la, pretty fun.
esp when the mice sneaked away
and the rest of us stayed and became united with the npcc people

hahah. was pretty cool to be united to npcc again,
havent had something like that since sec 1 lors!
and us sec 4s (minus 3 MICE)
became pretty united once again! haha it was really great
thank God for the campfire,
if not we wouldnt be so close again!
and we arranged to have a sec4 outing to the ZOO!
yayy finally. haha jiamin's eyes lit up when i said zoo.
shes one girl thats damn "on" one! wonder what we'll do without her.

in fact, sometimes i wonder us sec4 batch of bmb.
even if one person is missing, sth will be amiss.
like qianru & lihua they didnt come last night,
altho we were united together,
we still missed those 2 girls!

the westlake pri people are SAN BAs!

been to hillsongs the past 3 days.
god it was FANTASTIC.
the annointing was so darn good.
the people were great (i mean it)
God's presence could really be felt there
and i felt so loved at the concerts.

Hillsongs just has that annointing among them;
wonderful worship team and of course,
wonderful worship leader. darlene. shes almost 50, she looks 30
and her mom looks like her sister.
Our Father rejuvenated her youthh :D

anyway been subway-ing with anjolene before the concert

harry potter

it was fantastic.

it wasnt out-of-this-world
mouth-gaping
encore-worthy
standing-ovation fantastic.

just. plain fantastic.

in fact im pretty disappointed with the scary parts
& the length of the shw. its so darn short. grr-

anywayys. may 31st-1st june was operation enchanted woods at sentosa with teenzeal.
i was grouped in this group called hairy crab
alright all of you out there. STOP LAUGHING.
haha okay im laughing myself.
heyy but at least we weren't called babysquid or pregnantfish!
okay but hairy crab may still be one of the worst names.
who cares.
it was pretty enjoyable.
considering the fact that i was missing my bed at home
and i was darn tired. and i reeked, in other words i was dying for a shower with proper facilities and good smell.

anyway the whole night.
almost 15 hours with teenzeal
and i loved 3 seconds of it.
it'll prolly be like 3 seconds ill never forget.
but only i know wht happened -winks.

other than that,
the scissors paper stone game was pretty fun,
the titanic song was damn cute,
and i LOVED the solo walk.
call me weird but i love stuff like that.
it brings excitement esp when i dont believe in "stuff".

i dont knw if the leaders were truly afraid that we'll bump into our friendly neighbours from the netherworlds
or they were just pretending to scare us even more.
esp cliff; looking into the bushes w a torch.
he was scaring the sec 1 girls whenever he did that.

haha but i wasnt afraid altho
i have to admit i was at first because it was my first time havin to walk alone.
but somehow the fear went away.
i guess this whole walk was to know that God is walking with us.
every step,
no matter how small or how huge the problem is.
He's always with us. and im sure this walk has definitely taught me something.
like what andrew said, this will be something that we will never forget. and i certainly hope i could go thru that walk once again.
its something ive never done in my life before. and ill love to replay that whole moment again. and of course the precious 3 seconds :)
